Scholarship of Teaching & Learning Database

The purpose of this database is to organize Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Policy and Practices.

It was created at Malaspina University-College by Nicolette Zuydervelt, Research Assistant, in consultation with Nancy Randall, Malaspina Teaching Scholar.  The database developed from the policy references provided in Campus Progress: Supporting the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, a 2004 text edited by Barbara Cambridge.  Mick Healey, Alan Jenkins and Richard Gale provided additional institutional references that were included in this database.

Policy and practice are often inter-related in institutional descriptions; in a subsequent iteration of this database we plan to distinguish between policy and practice, where feasible. There likely are many other fine institutional policies and practices that should be included in future editions of this database.  Please forward recommended references and content to Nancy Randall, randall@mala.bc.ca

The database is searchable by highlighting the institutional name in the table of contents. All the on-line sources were 'live' as of February 2006.

Please be advised that this document is 112 pages long. To print a specific section, under your Print options select Current page or Pages and enter the desired page numbers.
