Requirements for viewing this tutorial:

AN INTERNET BROWSER version 4.0 or higher with javascript enabled, and the QUICKTIME PLUGIN. (In addition, there are external links to Microsoft word files and to PDF files.)

AN ETHERNET CONNECTION: In order to experience whole tutorial, with movies/audio you will need a direct ethernet connection. The time to download media via modem will be too prohibitive.

If you wish to complete the tutorial without access to movies or audio, a minimum of 56k connection speed is required.

LOGIN: In order to participate in the TASKS, you will be required to login with a username and password. you can stop the tutorial at any time, and return to the tutorial at your convenience, using the same username and password.

Each unit will an INDEX page allowing you access to any other pages within the unit. You can access the index page by the icon in the upper right of each unit page.

Each page has a NEXT button: (the Omega symbol, and right arrow) and PREVIOUS button: ( the Alpha symbol, and left arrow) in the upper right-hand corner and the lower right-hand corner of the page.

HOME:

You can also go back to the SOTL home page using the HOME button: located in the upper left-hand and lower left hand corners of the page.

LINKS: There are many reference links in this tutorial, ones to other pages in the tutorial(internal links) and ones to web pages outside of the tutorial (external links). Internal links are purple-colored. External links are green-colored. Both will open in a new browser to allow you to easily return to where you were.
